About the event
Get clear, feel better and walk with a glow. Many retreats later and the one thing I can tell you is that you will never feel hungry diring this retreat. You have a consistant stream of freshly made juices every few hours finishing our day with a loving made vegan soup packed with nutrients and super tastey. We send you off to bed with a glorious protien tea to help you get that deep sleep that you need.
All three days of the retreat there is a sauna and plunge pool to enjoy. You can loudge around in robs, that we provide, and read your book, have a lovely converstation, or nap next to one of the 5 cozy fireplaces.
The yoga practies is always stronger in the mornings and influence by Hatha and Ashtanga, with the main focus on building and maintaining strength as we age. AGING IS GOOD, we want to have the privillage of getting old but we want to make sure we have a long and healthy life, a weekend like this will certainly remind you how easy it actully can be.
It is important to fast a number of times a year to give the body a chance to heal itself. Fasting or Feasting on juices is one way we can do this, but super HYDRATION of the cells, we feed our body the vitamins and minerals very quickly through juiceing and give the digestive tract a rest. Rememberr the digestive tract has been called the second brain! Just like resting the mind, resting the body lets take that rest directly to the part of the body that does so much work, the digestive tract.
Whether your first time fasting or you are an avid faster and want the support and controlled enviroment, and the yoga ;) and someone making the jucies for you ;) the rolling hills of Kilkenny is the best place to be.
